"Kill yourself, you filth": Likud files incitement complaint against a senior Brothers in Arms activist

Likud has filed a police complaint against Itai Galon, described as a senior activist in the Brothers in Arms organization, on suspicion of incitement to violence against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The complaint includes screenshots of comments allegedly posted on Netanyahu's account, including "kill yourself, you filth" and "die already, you stinking loser."

Likud filed a police complaint on Thursday against Itai Galon, described in the document as a senior activist in the Brothers in Arms organization. The complaint, submitted through attorney Ilan Bombach, alleges that Galon posted a series of comments on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's X account over a period of time, raising suspicions of severe incitement to violence. Among the expressions attributed to him are: "kill yourself, you filth," "stinking traitor," "stinking antisemitic traitor, you're done," "die already, you stinking loser," and "shut up, murderer." The complaint argues that this is not an isolated post but a recurring sequence of statements directed at Netanyahu. Likud claimed that the combination of the severity of the expressions, their repetition, and the public atmosphere during the election period requires police investigation. Attorney Bombach wrote that "there is no need to elaborate on the heavy charge accompanying the accusation of treason against the prime minister," and that explicit calls to commit suicide and die, alongside portraying Netanyahu as a traitor and murderer, could create legitimacy for physical harm against him.
