Bangkok police arrested a 54-year-old Israeli man last Friday on suspicion of meeting women through dating apps, inviting them to his apartment, and serving them cakes suspected of containing drugs before having sex with them and secretly recording the encounters. Thai media identified the suspect as Tomer Kahiri. Police seized methamphetamine, drug-packaging equipment, and a mobile phone containing numerous intimate videos. The suspect had overstayed his visa by 2,095 days. A 44-year-old Thai woman was arrested with him on suspicion of possessing and using methamphetamine. The suspect denied the drugs belonged to him and reportedly threatened police officers during his arrest. The police statement did not indicate that formal charges for drugging or recording had been filed at that stage.
