Thai police arrested a 54-year-old Israeli in an apartment in Bangkok on suspicion of meeting women on a dating app, inviting them to his apartment, serving them cake allegedly containing drugs, and secretly filming sexual intercourse with them. The arrest was carried out by the Narcotics Suppression Center in cooperation with the Immigration Police, following a complaint received on the 1386 hotline. Officers seized 15 grams of methamphetamine, 50 packaging bags, a digital scale, and a cake tray from the apartment. The suspect had overstayed his visa, which expired in 2021, by 2,095 days. He denied the allegations, told officers that an influential person would release him within two hours, and threatened that the entire team would be removed from their positions. Police reported that the women who ate the cake felt hot flashes and increased sexual desire, but no laboratory findings have been published. Videos of the suspect having sex with several women were found on his phone. The suspect refused to undergo a drug test.
