Israel continues to hold Palestinian journalist Bushra al-Tawil in solitary confinement for two months, under harsh detention conditions including beatings, tear gas, and denial of basic needs and healthcare. Israeli authorities renewed her administrative detention order for an additional four months without filing charges. The Palestinian Prisoner's Club revealed details of her suffering in Ohali Ouz prison in Beersheba, noting repeated raids on her cell, beatings, and tear gas. The prisoner also suffers from dryness in the eyes, skin, and hands, as well as wounds on her hands from handcuff torture, and previously suffered from scabies. The Prisoner's Club called for an end to al-Tawil's isolation and to ensure her safety and rights, and urged international human rights organizations, led by the International Committee of the Red Cross, to intervene urgently.
