International airlines continue to suspend flights to Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries or delay their resumption, following Houthi attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Although Saudi authorities reopened the airport last Saturday, airlines still need permission from the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority for any departing or landing flights. The list of companies taking action includes: the French-Dutch group Air France-KLM extended its suspension of flights to and from Riyadh until the end of November 7, with the suspension of flights to Dubai remaining in effect until the end of October 31. Air India extended its suspension of flights to and from Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah until October 24. Akasa Air suspended its flights to and from Jeddah and Riyadh until October 27. Cathay Pacific postponed the resumption of its flights on the Hong Kong-Dubai and Hong Kong-Riyadh routes until January 31, 2027. Delta will postpone its scheduled flights from Atlanta to Riyadh until March 2027, and issued a travel waiver allowing passengers to cancel their flights to, from, or through Riyadh from October 23 to March 27.
