Instead of an IPO: Green Lantern to Acquire Up to 35% of Kisu at a Valuation of NIS 350-370 Million

Green Lantern fund returns to the negotiating table to acquire 30%-35% of the shares of Asian restaurant group Kisu at a valuation of NIS 350-370 million. The deal, expected to be signed in the coming days, replaces Kisu's IPO plan on the stock exchange. The shares will be purchased from founders Rotem Tahan and Noam Gabay. Kisu ended 2025 with revenues of NIS 307 million and a net profit of NIS 25 million.

The investment fund Green Lantern, led by Richie Hunter, Daniel Ben Ray, and Yosef Alyash, returns to the negotiating table with the founders of the Asian restaurant group Kisu, Rotem Tahan and Noam Gabay, and acquires 30%-35% of the company's shares at a valuation of NIS 350-370 million. The deal, expected to be signed in the coming days, replaces Kisu's IPO plan on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, where the valuation offered by institutional investors (about NIS 300 million) disappointed the founders. The shares will be purchased directly from the founders, each holding 31.5% of the company. Kisu, founded in 2005, operates eight restaurants under various brands. The group ended 2025 with revenues of NIS 307 million, of which 41% from deliveries and 59% from dine-in. Net profit in 2025 stood at NIS 25 million, up from NIS 16 million in 2024 and NIS 14 million in 2023. This is Green Lantern's second attempt to acquire holdings in Kisu; in 2023, the fund withdrew from a deal to acquire 50% at a much lower valuation of NIS 120-180 million. From the founders' perspective, the fund's entry is preferable to an IPO, as it brings significant managerial and commercial capabilities.
