In letter said written by Sinwar’s son, 10-year-old expresses desire to ‘shoot Jews’
The IDF released a letter it says was written by Ibrahim Sinwar, the 10-year-old son of slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, at the start of the Gaza war. Found by soldiers in the Strip in 2024, the letter expresses longing for his father alongside a wish to hold a Kalashnikov and shoot Jews, and is accompanied by drawings of an assault rifle, Israeli tanks and rockets. The IDF presented it as proof of how Sinwar's ideology shaped his children's education, publishing it two years after his killing in Rafah on October 16, 2024.
