In honor of the holiday: Thousands of Christians to attend support rally for Israel

The evangelical organization 'International Christian Embassy Jerusalem' expects 1,500 pro-Israel Christians from around the world to attend the Sukkot conference, which will include approximately 3,000 participants and last several days. The event will highlight solidarity with Israel against the backdrop of European sanctions on Jews in Judea and Samaria. David Parsons, vice president of the organization, told 'Maariv' about delegations from Ireland, the UK, Germany, Norway, the USA, Brazil, Bolivia, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Thailand, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Fiji. Participants fund their own travel and accommodation. Organization president Dr. Jürgen Bühler said the events are taking place against the backdrop of European sanctions on Jews in Judea and Samaria, the Golan, and Jerusalem, calling them "racist" and "reminiscent of boycotts against Jews in the past." The organization will respond to these measures by inviting settlement leaders to speak, offering products from Judea and Samaria for sale, and conducting tours of shops, wineries, and biblical sites in Judea and Samaria. Additionally, the organization will highlight its efforts in assisting the Gaza border communities with rehabilitation following the October 7 attack, and will unveil a tenth project to restore a central structure in Kibbutz Nir Oz. The events will open at a desert hotel between Arad and Masada and move to Jerusalem for a parade with national flags.
