Iman Abu Shalouf, 25, was killed on September 8, 2026, after being shot in the head inside her tent in the Bir 19 area of Mawasi Khan Younis, near Bir 19. She was eight months pregnant and died three days later in intensive care at Nasser Medical Complex. After her death, her family agreed to donate her corneas, which were transplanted into a 64-year-old patient as part of the national corneal transplant program.
