"Illegal Use of IDF Assets": Yashar! Sends Warning Letter to Likud

The Yashar! party with Eisenkot sent a warning letter today (Tuesday) to Likud demanding the removal of a campaign video published by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which was filmed at the Tel Nof air force base. The letter, sent through attorneys Uri Haberman and Guy Cohen, alleges illegal use of IDF assets for election propaganda, creating an impression of military identification with Netanyahu and Likud – in violation of Section 2A of the Elections Law. The party emphasized that the video, published 28 days before the elections, could cause unnecessary panic and be used to gain political advantage. Yashar! demanded the video be removed within 4 hours and threatened to appeal to the Central Elections Committee for an injunction.
