Specifically, a large warehouse complex at the Sofyino logistics technopark and the Kapotnya oil refinery caught fire. The Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya, one of the largest refining facilities in the Russian capital region, is owned by Gazprom Neft. It had already been targeted by drones twice in June 2026. There are also reports of damage to residential buildings. According to TASS, the deceased include an elderly man in Orekhovo-Zuyevo and a woman in Sofyino. Moscow airports experienced schedule disruptions, with many flights delayed. In Ukraine, officials reported that Russia attacked several settlements overnight with 138 Shahed drones, of which 101 were intercepted. Hits were recorded at 17 locations. According to UNIAN, a mother and two young children were killed in the Fastiv district of Kyiv region, while a mother and child were injured in the Vyshhorod district.
