Hostage survivor Or Levy demands answers in the investigation of the October 7 massacre. In an interview with the program "Ba'Chatzot HaYom" on Kan News, Levy said he wants to know the truth so he can explain to his son Almog, aged five, what happened. Levy was released from Hamas captivity in February 2025 after 491 days in captivity. He was kidnapped from the "death shelter" in the Gaza envelope, where his wife Einav was murdered. Levy described the difficulty of explaining to his son why he did not escape: "I understood that the point he was missing, that as a five-year-old child he doesn't understand, is that they aimed a weapon at me. That I had no choice." He criticized the public division ahead of the elections: "Here we are three years later with a division even greater than before October 7." Levy called for learning the lessons of the massacre and stopping the hatred.
