Hilltop youth celebrated at wedding to the tune of 'We do not believe in the rule of heretics'

Extreme right-wing activists from the Hilltop Youth were documented at a wedding in Gush Etzion dancing to an anti-Zionist song by Neturei Karta, waving weapons and raising a flag calling for Ariel Dheri. After the wedding, a vehicle was set on fire in a nearby Palestinian village.

Extreme right-wing activists belonging to the Hilltop Youth were documented at a wedding dancing to the song 'We do not believe in the rule of heretics,' associated with the anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox faction Neturei Karta. The footage was broadcast this evening (Thursday) on the 'Kan News' edition. The wedding took place this week in the Gush Etzion area. The footage shows some of the activists waving weapons. The singer performing the song rouses the celebrants and concludes with a wish: 'We will break the teeth of the Zionists, congratulations to the young couple.' Some of the celebrants raised a flag bearing the words 'Dheri — either you come or we will come to you.' Dheri is Ariel Dheri, a resident of an outpost who attacked a Palestinian woman during olive picking in the Ofra area a year ago. According to the indictment, he beat the woman, a mother of five, with a club, causing skull fractures. After the wedding, late at night, Jewish rioters set fire to a vehicle in the village of Beit Umar in the Gush Etzion area and sprayed the graffiti 'Regards to Dheri and congratulations.' In recent weeks, additional footage from Hilltop Youth weddings has been published showing celebrants waving swords, driving in convoys with their upper bodies outside the vehicles, and holding weapons.
