Gaza's Health Ministry announced on Monday, September 21, 2026, that 4 martyrs and 17 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours. The ministry clarified that among the martyrs, one died from injuries, while bodies of 3 martyrs were recovered. It stated that the toll since the ceasefire began on October 11 has risen to 1,394 martyrs and 4,839 wounded, with 834 bodies recovered from under the rubble. This brings the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, to 73,914 martyrs and 174,952 wounded. The ministry continues to update the toll as victims arrive and bodies are recovered from the rubble.
