"He stabbed her 20 times in front of her son": In Haifa, Yana, killed by her ex-husband, was buried

In Haifa, Yana Zykova, killed by her ex-husband in front of their six-year-old son, was buried. The victim's mother said she suffered 20 stab wounds. The suspect has been arrested, and an investigation has been launched.

On Friday, October 30, at the Darkei Shalom cemetery in Haifa, the funeral of Yana Zykova took place. She was killed a week earlier, on October 23, by her ex-husband in her apartment in Kiryat Haim, in front of their six-year-old son. The victim's parents, mother Nadia and father Vladimir, arrived from Ukraine for the funeral. The mother could not stop crying and shouted: "He killed my daughter! No one could help her. He inflicted 20 stab wounds all over her body." According to a relative, the boy was in the living room and saw what his father did to his mother. Nadia promised to do everything possible to take custody of her grandson. The police arrested the ex-husband and launched an investigation. Neighbors said that Yana was afraid of the suspect and had complained about him.
