"Hamas": Ready to Implement the Agreed Roadmap on Gaza
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem affirmed the movement's readiness to implement the agreed roadmap with the Peace Council regarding Gaza, holding the occupation responsible for obstructing the agreement and escalating aggression, and calling on international parties to act.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem affirmed on Thursday the movement's full readiness to implement the agreed roadmap with the Peace Council regarding the peace plan in the Gaza Strip, stating that it has taken all necessary steps for that. Qassem said in a statement that the complete obstruction of the ceasefire agreement and the associated roadmap stems from the occupation government's refusal to comply with the agreement, its escalation of aggression against the residents of the Gaza Strip, and the inability of the Peace Council and its representative, Miladinoff, to compel the occupation to implement its terms. He stressed the need for all parties, especially the US administration and the Peace Council, to facilitate the entry of the technocrat committee into the Gaza Strip to enable it to fulfill its duties towards the residents of the Strip, and to begin the introduction of international forces, according to the ceasefire agreement and the associated roadmap. The statements come amid ongoing discussions about implementing the roadmap's phases amidst differing positions on commitments.
