Golan calls for inclusion of an Arab party; The Democrats clarify: "The issue was not raised"

Shortly after the interview, The Democrats party issued a clarification stating that Golan's words reflect only the party's position, and that the issue was not raised at all at the meeting of the heads of the Change Bloc held last night at the home of Yair Lapid. His remarks stand in contrast to the position of Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of Yashar, who declared that Ra'am will not be part of the next government due to its failure to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization. Avigdor Lieberman stated that the decision on the candidate for prime minister will be made only after the elections, referencing the previous experience where running on a single slate led to a loss.
