Ghannouchi's advisor: Palestine is the cause of all Tunisians and not the property of Carthage Palace

Chaibi wrote on Facebook that the authorities are showing blatant political hypocrisy by raising the slogan of Palestine in their official discourse while pursuing and arresting Tunisians who expressed their solidarity with Palestine on the ground. He questioned which Palestine the authorities want to monopolize speaking in its name, and which solidarity they allow in statements but prevent when it turns into popular action. He affirmed that Palestine is not the property of Carthage Palace, nor of the government, nor of any party, but is the cause of the Tunisian people who stood in solidarity with it before the current regime came to power and will continue their solidarity after its departure. He considered that the authorities want solidarity under control: Palestine in official discourse but no Palestine in the independent civil sphere.
