Two people in Gaza, including a medical student, died on Friday from wounds sustained in previous Israeli attacks. A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital reported the death of Nabil Hamad from injuries caused by an Israeli strike several days ago in the Al-Balakhia area of Al-Shati camp. Also, student Sara Abu Jayab, a resident of Al-Shati camp, died from wounds she sustained in a previous Israeli strike on the city. Local sources said Abu Jayab was a medical student at the Islamic University and was injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the university campus at the end of last October. In a separate development, the Israeli army fired heavy gunfire toward the Al-Mawasi area northwest of Rafah, with some shots reaching tents of displaced people. These developments come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement announced in the Gaza Strip since October 10, 2025, which has resulted in 1,602 Palestinian deaths and 5,799 injuries.
