American singer-songwriter Zach Bryan sparked widespread reactions on social media after appearing on stage at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts wearing a black shirt with the phrase "Free Palestine," weeks after rapper Macklemore was removed from Ed Sheeran's tour due to his pro-Palestinian stance.

American singer and songwriter Zach Bryan sparked widespread reactions on social media platforms after appearing on stage at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, wearing a black shirt with the phrase "Free Palestine." Video clips showed Bryan wearing the shirt during the first night of two concerts he performed at the stadium, and several members of his band also wore clothing with pro-Palestine messages. Bryan's appearance came weeks after the controversy surrounding the removal of rapper Macklemore, who was scheduled to open for Ed Sheeran's "Loop Tour" concerts in the United States. During a concert held on September 4 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Macklemore expressed support for Palestinians, chanted "Free Palestine," performed his protest song "Hind's Hall," which addresses pro-Palestine protests at Columbia University, and displayed images related to the war in Gaza, before his removal from the tour was announced.
