Shfer noted that Netanyahu is employing two tactics: dragging out time and turning the defendant into the accuser. He added that tens of thousands of pages of protocol have accumulated and that there is severe damage to public trust in the legal system. Shfer called for streamlining processes in the prosecution and courts, and compared the situation in Israel to trials abroad where a jury accelerates proceedings.
