Dr. Eyal Hulata, former head of the National Security Council, was interviewed on a program on 103FM and asked about Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit to the Emirates. Hulata argued that the real event in the visit is the need to dwell on the issue of Netanyahu's acceptance of responsibility for the October 7 failure. According to him, "Ronen Bar failed and resigned, Netanyahu refuses to take responsibility." Hulata harshly criticized the conduct of the political echelon: "Responsibility is not measured only in good times... there is an element of mudslinging and filth at everyone else. This is dismantling our systems, because everyone is constantly busy with wars and backstabbing." He called for the establishment of a state commission of inquiry and noted that "three years after the failure, we should already be deep into a state commission of inquiry that has submitted its conclusions." Hulata added that the public must know who knew what, when and where, and what situation assessments were conducted.
