Tel Aviv District Commander, Superintendent Haim Sargrof, signed an administrative closure order for 30 days for Abulafia Bakery on 3 HaShlosha Street in Tel Aviv, following the employment of illegal residents. This is the second time in less than six months that the business has been closed, after a similar order was issued in June under identical circumstances. The incident occurred on Monday, as part of proactive operations by officers of the Tel Aviv South station in the Ayalon area, in cooperation with Immigration Authority inspectors. During the raid, three residents of the territories, aged 20 to 40, were found on site, staying in Israel without permits and allegedly employed by the business. Based on the findings, a criminal investigation was opened against the employer. The administrative order mandates the bakery's closure until December 2, 2026. The Israel Police stated that forces will continue to act against the employment and harboring of illegal residents.
