Two suspects in an attempted car theft were arrested last night (between Monday and Tuesday) in the community of Ramot HaShavim in the Sharon region. The community's security coordinator (Ravash) caught the first suspect in the act, while his accomplice fled the scene. Border Police fighters and Kfar Saba police officers launched extensive searches for the fugitive, using a drone to locate him from the air. Following a resident's report, the suspect's movements were identified in an open area, and he later fled back into the community, where he was arrested after a foot chase. Both suspects were transferred to police investigation. The arrests were carried out as part of proactive activity to prevent property crimes and vehicle thefts in the Hod HaSharon area.
