First publication: Division 98 is ending its operational activity in Judea and Samaria. The division, which received exceptional responsibility for the sector in September, is expected to complete its mission in the coming days and return to being an IDF reserve division.

Hillel Biton Rosen reports on Channel 14 that after an IDF situational assessment, it was decided to end the operational activity of Division 98 in Judea and Samaria. The division, which received exceptional sectoral responsibility in September following the attack at the Yehuda Junction, is expected to complete its activity in the coming days and return to being a reserve division. The move was carried out under the direction of Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and under the command of Brigadier General Mani Liberty. The division took command of the Judea and Etzion Brigades in order to enhance defensive and offensive capabilities.
