The Israeli Ministry of Health, together with the company "Din Marketing and Roasting 2021 Ltd.," has announced an emergency recall of a batch of roasted sunflower seeds under the brand "Sason ha-Kole." The reason was a consumer complaint, following which the Food Service of the Health Ministry's Central District conducted an inspection and identified a critical discrepancy: the front of the package states "no salt," but the product contains salt. The labeling error poses a serious risk to individuals who, for medical reasons, are required to limit their sodium intake or follow a special diet. The recall applies to products in 150-gram packages with barcode 7290019297642. Three expiration dates have been set for the recalled batches: January 26, 2027, August 12, 2027, and August 27, 2027. The manufacturing company is conducting an urgent removal of the product from all retail outlets across the country. Consumers are asked to refrain from consuming these seeds and to contact the manufacturer's phone number: 052-3112488.
