Eisenkot losing control? How the opposition is trying to reinvent itself
Strategic consultant Nimrod Eliran Sabah analyzed in an interview with Tal Meir the attempts by Eisenkot, Gantz, and Lapid to differentiate themselves within the opposition, the game of swing voters, and the internal challenges on the right surrounding the Winter and Zalicha parties.
Strategic consultant Nimrod Eliran Sabah appeared on the program "Israel This Morning" with Tal Meir and analyzed the political situation ahead of the elections. Sabah addressed Gadi Eisenkot's debate challenge to Prime Minister Netanyahu, arguing that it is an attempt by Eisenkot to differentiate himself from the other opposition parties, while creating chaos in the left-center camp. According to him, the real game is over the votes of the "swing voters" — hundreds of thousands of potential voters — and the political games in the opposition are harming the chances of convincing them. Sabah also expressed cautious optimism regarding the right-wing parties that are still hovering around the electoral threshold, including those of Ofer Winter and Yaron Zalicha, and expressed hope that all of them would pass and recommend Netanyahu.
