An 18-year-old Druze youth, expected to enlist in the IDF in four months, was stabbed last night (between Saturday and Sunday) outside a club in Tel Aviv. He had come to celebrate a birthday with two friends. According to his father, the three were attacked because they spoke Arabic. The father said his son told the attackers they were Druze and that two soldiers were with him, but due to his Arabic accent, they did not believe him. During the brawl, the youth tried to protect one of the soldiers and was stabbed. He was taken to Ichilov Hospital, underwent surgery, and his condition is defined as moderate. Police arrested three suspects aged 18-19, a knife was seized, and they will be brought to a remand extension hearing. The circumstances are still under investigation.
