Dozens of angry students: the courses were stopped – but the money was not returned

Dozens of students at SV College claim their studies were halted after only a few lessons due to financial difficulties, but the money they paid was not refunded to them. According to them, their attempts to get answers from the college's management remained unanswered, and meanwhile the payments continue to be charged. One of the students told C14: "I was left with a hole in my account, and I have no one to talk to."

Dozens of students at SV College, which offers professional training in the high-tech and digital fields, claim their studies were halted after only a few lessons due to financial difficulties, but the money they paid was not refunded to them. According to them, their attempts to get answers from the college's management remained unanswered, and meanwhile the payments continue to be charged. Shelly Orkabi, a business owner who enrolled in a digital marketing course, said she paid about 8,000 shekels for the studies, and was presented with the option of spreading the sum over 12 interest-free payments, but later discovered it was financing through an external company. According to her, the course began in early September and was supposed to include about 25 to 30 sessions, but was stopped after about five lessons. Orkabi claimed that during the holiday break the study compound was dismantled, and that the lecturer who taught the course also did not receive her salary for several months. According to her, the group opened two days ago already has nearly one hundred affected people. She described being required to keep paying the financing company out of fear of lawsuits. Among the affected are also post-trauma sufferers and discharged soldiers. SV College has not yet given a response.
