Donald Trump attacked Bill Maher in a 1,323-word post: "Total loser"

US President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack against host Bill Maher in a 1,323-word post on Truth Social, following an interview with former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Trump called Maher a "total loser" and criticized his show.

US President Donald Trump published today (Monday) a particularly harsh and lengthy attack against host and commentator Bill Maher, in a 1,323-word post on Truth Social. Trump opened his remarks by calling Maher a "total and complete loser," and also attacked his HBO show, which he said suffers from low ratings. The background to the attack was the appearance of former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on the show "Real Time." Trump praised Leavitt and claimed that Maher presented her with "lie after lie." Later in the post, Trump claimed that Maher used "fake" polls and accused him of lies on various topics. Trump also referred to two meals that he claimed took place at the White House after Maher and his team requested to meet with him, and attacked Maher personally as well. Towards the end of the post, the president wrote to Maher: "Don't call anymore. It's pointless," and called him a "hopeless person" and a "coward." Trump continued to attack the audience reactions on Maher's show, claiming that the laughter and applause sounded artificial.
