A minor resident of Ofakim was arrested on suspicion of throwing a stun grenade at a residence in the city late at night. The incident occurred on October 16. Footage released by the police shows the minor throwing the grenade toward the house. Officers from the Ofakim station launched an investigation, arrested the minor on the same day, and collected evidence from the scene. His detention was extended several times. Last weekend, the Southern District Attorney's Office filed a prosecutor's statement against him ahead of filing an indictment. The commander of the Ofakim station, Deputy Superintendent Moshe Bohadana, said: "This is a serious incident, and we see great importance in exhausting all investigative actions until the evidentiary foundation is established and those involved are brought to justice."
