Channel 14 reporter Shira Kai Cohen was verbally attacked in Tel Aviv's Habima Square while covering left-wing reactions to the election results. A passerby shouted "Do a Hitler salute" and "Do Nazis" at her. The reporter responded on air, and host Ido Tauber condemned the incident.

Channel 14 reporter Shira Kai Cohen was verbally attacked in Tel Aviv's Habima Square while covering feelings of disappointment on the left following the election results. During a live broadcast, a passerby shouted "Do a Hitler salute" and "Do Nazis" at her after she spoke with a resident about the election results and the possibility of forming a unity government. The reporter asked him not to interfere, but he continued shouting. In response, Kai Cohen said on air: "Yes, now they called us Nazis because we interviewed a resident here and asked him what he votes for." Channel 14 host Ido Tauber condemned the shouts in the studio, saying these are statements that should not be directed at journalists. The incident joins another incident from yesterday, in which Channel 14 reporter in the north Gal Tovi was attacked during a live broadcast in Haifa.
