Despite Melania's statement: NATO reinforces forces in the Black Sea

Following the damage to eight cargo ships and the deaths of dozens of sailors in recent weeks, NATO is reinforcing its forces in the Black Sea. France has transferred an advanced maritime patrol aircraft to Romania. This comes after Melania Trump's announcement of a humanitarian ceasefire in Ukraine.

NATO is reinforcing its forces in the Black Sea following damage to eight cargo ships and the deaths of dozens of sailors in recent weeks. The Romanian Defense Ministry announced that France has temporarily transferred an advanced maritime patrol aircraft, the "Atlantic 2," to the Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base in Romania, aimed at detecting navigation hazards and tightening defense of strategic energy infrastructure. Over the past three weeks, at least eight cargo ships have been damaged near the coasts of Romania and Bulgaria, and approximately 34 sailors have been killed or are listed as missing. The report comes after the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, announced a regional and focused ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, intended to ensure safe passage of humanitarian aid convoys to the city of Oleshky in the Kherson region.
