Three Israeli creators – Hagai Gutman, editor of 'Israel HaYom', Lt. Col. (res.) Ro'i Danino, and attorney Ariel Averbuch – produced the advocacy film 'Naz'a – The True Story' as a response to the anti-Israeli film 'Naz'a' by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Shor. The film, intended to present 'the true and just side' of events in the Gaza Strip, garnered over 7.5 million views. In an interview with Tal Meir, the creators said they have been invited to a series of screenings in the US and Europe in the near future. Gutman said the idea was born after the original film's award win, out of a feeling that 'no one is doing anything against it'. Averbuch emphasized that the event is not over, as the original film has not yet been distributed to the general public. The creators noted that the film was produced without external funding, out of 'goodwill and initiative'.
