Conservative Jewish-American commentator Ben Shapiro analyzed the results of the elections for the 26th Knesset in Israel, and stated that all polls were completely wrong except for Channel 14, which he called 'the Fox News of Israel'. Shapiro explained that Netanyahu won because 65% of Jews in Israel are right-wing, and that the opposition dealt the strongest blow it could and failed. He pointed to data from the prediction website 'Kalshi' which showed a sharp drop in Gadi Eisenkot's chances of becoming prime minister from 45%-50% to just 14%. Shapiro presented two possible scenarios: new elections or a broad unity government, in both of which Netanyahu remains in power. He described Eisenkot's coalition as a 'clear political failure'.
