Civil Defense retrieves remains of 7 martyrs from under rubble of homes

The Civil Defense in Gaza announced the retrieval of the remains of 7 martyrs from under the rubble of two homes destroyed by the Israeli occupation in the Nuseirat camp and the Yarmouk area. It confirmed that more than 8,000 martyrs' bodies remain trapped under the debris, amid the occupation's prevention of the entry of necessary equipment.

The Civil Defense in Gaza announced on Saturday the retrieval of the remains of 7 martyrs from under the rubble of two homes destroyed by the Israeli occupation during the war on the Strip. Civil Defense teams in the Central and Gaza governorates reported that they retrieved the remains from the homes of the Nuwayri family in the Nuseirat camp and the Attallah family in the Yarmouk area of Gaza City. The statement indicated that Civil Defense teams have retrieved the remains of hundreds of martyrs over the past weeks despite scarce resources due to the occupation forces preventing the entry of necessary equipment and machinery. According to the Civil Defense, more than 8,000 martyrs' bodies remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings in the Strip.
