Tami Schlossberg Pruwer, 40, an Israeli author and public policy professional, has co-written 'Chutzpah Girls: 100 Tales of Daring Jewish Women' with Julie Silverstein. The book, which features 100 original prints by 12 women artists, sold out its first printing in four days and has been translated into French and Hebrew, with more languages to follow. Pruwer, who made aliyah from Antwerp in 2005, drew on her background in marketing and storytelling to create the book. She was inspired by a lack of Jewish stories in feminist books she received as gifts. The authors began work on September 1, 2019, and after delays due to COVID, completed the book. Following the October 7 attacks, they added profiles of Inbal Lieberman and Rachel Edri to honor their resilience. Pruwer now lives in Tel Aviv with her husband and two children, and she emphasizes the importance of chutzpah and community for olim in Israel.
