British singer: I say 'Free Palestine' to my children every night
British singer Paloma Faith reveals she says 'Free Palestine' to her children every night, and criticizes Ed Sheeran for refusing to take a political stance on the war on Gaza. She points to his hypocrisy for supporting Ukraine while avoiding Palestine, following the exclusion of rapper Macklemore from his tour for supporting Palestine.
British singer Paloma Faith (44) revealed in the 'Fourcast' podcast on Britain's Channel 4 that she says the phrase 'Free Palestine' to her children every night. Faith criticized her colleague Ed Sheeran for refusing to take a public stance on the Israeli aggression on Gaza, noting that his justification of not wanting to embarrass his diverse audience is unacceptable given what Palestinian children are enduring. She argued that political neutrality is itself a political stance, and accused him of hypocrisy for participating in a fundraiser for Ukraine while avoiding Palestine. Her comments come after rapper Macklemore was excluded from Sheeran's tour for chanting 'Free Palestine' at a show in New Jersey. Macklemore donated one million dollars to six Palestinian institutions, and called on Zionist billionaire Robert Kraft to join.
