She is the mother of Avior Sasson, who is accused of murder in the case, and is accused of aiding after the fact and obstruction of justice. About two weeks ago, her attorney, Chen Meiri, filed an urgent petition to the court claiming that the Israel Prison Service was preventing her from receiving adequate medical treatment.
