Families of the October 7 massacre victims appealed to all Knesset members, warning against cooperation with the Arab parties. In a statement published by Kobi Samerno, father of Jonathan Samerno, who was murdered in the massacre, it was written that any MK who makes a move with the Arab parties will be considered a "supporter of Hamas supporters." The call was signed by 18 family members of the murdered and kidnapped, including Eli Shtivi, Itzik Goili, and five members of the family of Amit Cohen. The call comes two days after the elections for the 26th Knesset, in which the Arab parties surged to a record 19 seats. The Netanyahu bloc stands at 53 seats and the left bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot at 48, with neither bloc reaching 61. The Democrats is the only party in the left bloc that has not ruled out cooperation with the Arab parties.
