Bennett asked, but Ben Gvir received the historic letter: These are the ballots of all the parties

The Central Elections Committee approved the ballot letters for 38 parties running in the 26th Knesset elections. Likud retains 'Machl', Eisenkot's Yashar! gets 'Derech', Bennett received 'Rak' despite requesting the historic 'Bet' letter of the Mafdal, while Ben Gvir and Otzma Yehudit won 'Bet'. The Democrats will receive 'Emet'.

The Central Elections Committee approved this morning (Sunday) the letters that will appear on the ballots of 38 parties running for the 26th Knesset. Likud, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, will retain the historic letter 'Machl'. In a symbolic battle over the letter 'Bet', Naftali Bennett requested it for his party 'Together' – the historic letter of the Mafdal – but the committee awarded it to Itamar Ben Gvir and Otzma Yehudit. Bennett will receive the letter 'Rak'. Gadi Eisenkot and the Yashar! party will receive the letter 'Derech'. Yair Golan and the Democrats will receive 'Emet'. The Joint List and Ra'am were approved conditionally, pending a Supreme Court decision, after the committee ruled they are disqualified under Article 7a(a)(1) of Basic Law: The Knesset. The Joint List also disqualified two of its candidates. The 'Gan Eden' party requested the letter 'Yah' but was rejected due to concerns of offending public sentiment, and received the letter 'Heh'.
