Minister Eli Cohen promised Ofer Winter a position in the next government if he withdraws from the Knesset race. In an interview with 103FM, Cohen claimed that Winter has a high probability of not passing the electoral threshold, and that he was offered a place in Likud before the submission of lists but chose to take the risk. Cohen called on Winter to withdraw and agree on a role with the Prime Minister, defining it as a responsible act. Regarding ultra-Orthodox conscription, he said that 55% do not attend yeshivas and those whose Torah is not their profession must enlist. Finally, he presented Israel as an asset that helped the world against the Iranian nuclear threat.
