Right-wing activist Shfi Paz, one of the prominent figures in the fight against illegal infiltration into Israel and for the residents of South Tel Aviv, has passed away. The Otef Central Bus Station association announced her death today (Monday) and eulogized her. Paz, who led protests and demonstrations since 2013, became a well-known and controversial figure. She was arrested and served a prison sentence for her activities, including for spraying protest graffiti against the European Union in 2019, and in September 2024 she was sentenced to 45 days in prison. In the association's statement, it was said: "We have lost a brave leader, a dear friend, and a woman who became a symbol of determination, dedication, and love of the land." Paz was born to Holocaust survivor parents and immigrated to Israel from Poland as a child. Her friends in the association pledged to continue her struggle.
