Ballot Box Terror – Harsh Attack on the Attorney General: "Gali, Don't Intervene"

MK Simcha Rothman harshly attacked Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara over her involvement in investigating suspicions of foreign influence and election bribery in the Ballot Box Terror affair. He called on Judge Solberg and Shin Bet head Zini to prevent her intervention, and compared the event to the Military Advocate General affair.

Chairman of the Constitution Committee, MK Simcha Rothman, harshly attacked Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara following her involvement in examining suspicions of foreign influence and election bribery within the Ballot Box Terror affair. In a post he published, Rothman claimed that her conduct raises concerns about harming the integrity of the investigation, and called on Judge Noam Solberg and Shin Bet head David Zini to prevent her intervention. Rothman compared the event to the Military Advocate General and Sde Teiman affair, and claimed that law enforcement representatives had previously rejected similar claims. He accused the Attorney General and senior prosecution officials of attempting to cover up the affair, and argued that she has a personal interest in the election results. Rothman clarified that he does not know what the findings of the investigation will be, but demanded that answers be provided to the public in real time.
