Babi Yar 85 years later: Zelenskyy honors the memory of murdered Jews

On the night of September 29, Russian forces launched 152 attack drones across Ukraine. Zelenskyy spoke about the importance of remembering the victims of Babi Yar and drew a parallel between the events of the Holocaust and Russia's current war against Ukraine. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian government, rabbis, leaders of the Jewish community, and about 50 foreign ambassadors, including the Israeli ambassador. A separate topic was the death of 14-year-old Israeli citizen Daniel Umansky from a Russian drone strike.
