Avigdor Lieberman is hurt, filters the bloc leaders and intends to wait
Avigdor Lieberman is hurt by the election results, filters the leaders of the Change Bloc and intends to wait. He refuses to join Netanyahu or form a government with Arab support, and cuts off contact with Bennett and Eisenkot.
Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman is hurt by the election results that ended without a decisive outcome between the blocs, and is filtering the leaders of the Change Bloc. According to a report on N12's "Main Edition," Lieberman sets two red lines: he will not join Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he previously said should be prosecuted for treason, and he will not form a government supported by the Arab parties. The day after the elections, he cuts off contact with Naftali Bennett and Gadi Eisenkot and does not answer their calls. Lieberman ends his campaign far from where he started it, as Bennett gains mandates at his expense. He does not intend to move to the Netanyahu bloc and prefers that Eisenkot do so alone. His associates assess that a security escalation could lead to a political stalemate, so he chooses to wait.
