Avi Maoz to Ron Huldai: "You are taking us back to the eve of October 7"

MK Avi Maoz harshly criticized Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai for his decision not to allow a Selichot event with gender separation at Tel Baruch Beach. MK Avi Maoz, chairman of the "Noam for Israel" party, harshly criticized Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai following his decision not to allow the main Selichot event at Tel Baruch Beach with gender separation. Maoz wrote on social network X: "Ron Huldai, you insist on taking us back to the eve of October 7. Stop playing with fire. Your struggle against Jewish identity has already crossed every line. In Tel Aviv, what is allowed for Muslims is forbidden for Jews." Maoz added that he will fight for the right to feel free to be Jewish even in Tel Aviv. Against the backdrop of the decision, the Association of Community Rabbis and writer Linor submitted a petition to the Tel Aviv District Court demanding that the event be allowed in the requested format.
