Attempt to sabotage the poll? Shlomo Filber's WhatsApp account blocked
On election day, the WhatsApp account of pollster Shlomo Filber was unexpectedly blocked hours before the publication of Channel 14's exit poll. The account was sent for review that could take up to 24 hours, amid dramatic gaps between the channel's polls and competing polls.
At the height of election day for the 26th Knesset, the WhatsApp account of Shlomo (Momo) Filber, the pollster for Channel 14 and the person responsible for the channel's election exit poll, was unexpectedly blocked. The block occurred just hours before the poll's publication at 9:45 PM, raising questions about the unusual timing. A screenshot from his device shows that WhatsApp placed his account under review, which could take up to 24 hours. The incident occurs against the backdrop of significant gaps between Filber's seat polls and those of competing media outlets. Just yesterday, Filber announced that he had entered the poll protocol, including a commitment to confidentiality. Now, his account is unavailable.
