The Association for Civil Rights urgently appealed to the head of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Sohlberg, to immediately send observers to polling stations in Arab towns, following complaints of unjustified delays and long lines. The association expressed concern that the delays may be intentional, potentially preventing Arab citizens from voting in today's elections. The association reported receiving complaints from numerous towns including Rahat, Tel Sheva, Laqiya, Shaqib al-Salam, Abu Tulul, Umm Batin, Iksal, Jaljulia, Kafr Qara, Jisr az-Zarqa, Kafr Manda, Ar'ara, Tamra, Kafr Kanna, Tira, and Daburiyya. At the Shaqib al-Salam Comprehensive High School, reports indicated large numbers of police and National Guard personnel at the entrance, preventing voters from entering under the pretext of crowd control, despite few voters inside the school. The association demanded Sohlberg use his authority under Article 70A of the Knesset Elections Law.
