Israel's Central Bureau reports 152,400 visitor entries in October 2026
Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics published October 2026 entry data for Ben Gurion Airport, showing 152,400 visitor entries, up from 131,200 in October 2025. Passenger traffic on election day was about 60,000, similar to a normal day.
The Central Bureau of Statistics published data on visitor entries to Israel for October 2026: 152,400 entries, of which 150,100 were tourists and 2,300 were day visitors. In the first ten months of the year, 957,800 entries were recorded, compared to 1.07 million in the same period last year, but the data includes the 40 days of the 'Lion's Roar' war. However, a seasonally adjusted analysis reveals a change in trend: in the last three months (August-October), an average of 119,400 tourist entries per month were recorded, compared to 76,300 in the preceding three months. It also shows that in August-October, tourist entries increased by an average of 2.3% per month, while in the preceding months there was an average decline of 1.1%. The growth is likely attributed to Israelis living abroad who returned to vote in the Knesset elections on October 27.
